OnBeat lets your athletes use their pre-owned heart rate monitors.
Compatible Bluetooth Heart Rate Monitors
All major brands are compatible with OnBeat, including Polar, Wahoo, Scosche, Whoop, and MyZone MZ-3.
Unfortunately, the Apple Watch and Fitbit are not currently compatible. Read more here.
ANT+ Monitors
ANT+ is also compatible with OnBeat; however, you must purchase a WiFi bridge from us because the iPad and iPhone do not have ANT+ hardware built in. Follow this link to purchase a WiFi bridge. The WiFi bridge is an antenna that receives up to 100 heart rate monitor signals and sends the data to the iPad or iPhone over Wi-Fi.
This list contains all ANT+ heart rate monitors that are compatible with OnBeat.

Garmin
Garmin does not send a Bluetooth signal and won't connect directly to the iPad/iPhone. The monitors only send an ANT+ signal, so they require our ANT+ antenna. Please submit a support request to order the antenna.
Understanding Bluetooth and ANT+
There are two types of heart rate monitors available on the market- Bluetooth and ANT+- and each has pros and cons. Bluetooth is readily available on personal mobile devices but can only be connected to one iPhone or iPad simultaneously. Athletes must disconnect their Bluetooth heart rate monitor from their phones before connecting it to OnBeat. ANT+, on the other hand, ANT+ can be connected to multiple iPads and iPhones simultaneously, but they need extra hardware (WiFi Bridge) to connect to OnBeat.
